WENDY’S WORKOUTS 4/22-4/26

Ok, so you haven’t seen my workouts in the last few weeks.  Why?  Well, let’s just sufice it to say… there haven’t been too many.  Spring Break is a killer on the workout plan, is it not??  But I’m back at it… hitting it hard.  Ok, not too hard!  Shall we say easing back into it!  So here ya go!  I hope this motivates you to move!!!

Monday:  Ran one hour and 7 minutes.  Did hills which felt great.  However, as I was climbing up through this neighborhood, I got lost.  I mean I knew where I was, but I couldn’t figure out how to get back to the one street that would bring me back down to my car.  Hence, the 7 extra minutes.

Tuesday: Rode 2 hours with my Little Friend Lynn.  Ok, to be TOTALLY honest, we stopped by her daughter’s house for about 15 minutes to see her new baby!  Super cute little guy!  And since we had a little break, Lynn of course headed straight for hills and we climbed and climbed and climbed.  I swear I do not know how she finds all these hills.  Damn her!

Wednesday:  I wanted to swim today but I arrived at my gym while the aquasize class was still going on.  I love and appreciate exercise of all kinds…but man it burns me out when I can’t get in the pool!  So I put my goggles away and laced up my running shoes.  I ran 1 hour on the treadmill.  I’ve had an irritating headache for about 9 days and today was no different.  In fact, I almost let it serve as an excuse to not workout today.  But I started out slow and the headache actually got a bit better.  But an hour after my workout, my headache returned to its throbbing loveliness.  I’ll explain more about these headaches in a post next week.

Thursday:  Rode my windtrainer for 1 hour with my boyfriend, Mr. Reese. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen him so it was good to catch up.

Friday:  GREAT WORKOUT TODAY!  I took off on my bike and rode hills for an hour.  I ended up at my gym and swam for an hour.  3000 yards.  I then rode home… about 30 minutes.  A 2 hour and 30 minute workout is a huge luxury for me!  Man I wish I could do that more often!
